Letters to Herostratus

Description

“Katarina Kelley’s debut collection feels intimate, as though a lover from antiquity really did write each prose poem to their beloved. The language flows smoothly, with metaphor and simile effectively used, and yet each simple elegant “letter” is a work of beauty.”
– Cat Russell, Soul Picked Clean

Katarina Kelley invites you to experience love with her: the pain, the flames, and the bittersweet longing.

This work is a passionate painting of love and all the terrors that come with it.

This debut poetry collection contains over 70 powerful, gritty works.

XXVIII “Scrambled words of scrambled love
Every night I pour them into the void I pretend is you

I wish you hadn’t left me so far away from you

I wish it was easier for me to give up on you.”
